“S O C K S   F O R   J E S U S”

That’s what the new Sunday School Mission Project is called!

Why are we doing it?

1) To teach our children that “doing for others is doing for Jesus”  (Matthew 24:34-40)

2) For children to see first hand the love of Jesus working through our congregation as           they donate socks for the needy

3) To distribute socks during the Food Pantry distribution in the love of Jesus each month

4) To use proceeds (hopefully at least $334.) For future Sunday School/Mission Projects

                           When are we doing it?

Every Sunday after worship!  We are not setting an ending date!

How can YOU help?

1) Purchase one or more pairs of socks for $.50 a pair to

a) take home for yourself   or   b) donate back to “Socks for Jesus” to help others

2) Purchase socks elsewhere and bring them to our “Socks for Jesus” bin.

We have already had 188 pairs of socks donated for sale and have ordered another 480 pairs for a total of 668 anticipated pairs of socks. Your support of this project will show the children another way that you care about sharing God’s love with others.

Please pray for this Sunday School project in mission and most of all for our children, that they may truly know the love of Christ and grow in Him throughout their lives.
